This is a new fabulous workshop at the Blacksmith Shop Crafts. Joy Smith from Cinebling LTD is coming to tutor how to make a silver ring using a piece of wax. However, we do not wear the wax pieces, rather it is a way to carve and shape your design in an easy-to-work-with material, that then is taken to a caster (Joy!) and converted into the metal of your choice through a process called lost-wax-casting. Carol Sterritt makes garden sculpture in galvanised chicken wire. She is one of the regular tutors at the Blacksmith Shop Crafts and has given us a chance to make wading  birds, owls, dragon flies, lizards, little Robins and Stag's Heads previously. I used to think that making baskets is so uncool but I have totally changed my mind since I have seen Leilah's work. Leilah from Dragon Willow is a local willow artist who is kept busy with workshops and commissions. Willow Boxing Hare workshop is new to Blacksmith Shop Crafts but Leilah has been to my venue dozens of times before during the years.
