Baby Wading Bird

Carol Sterritt has been to Blacksmith Shop Crafts several times to tutor wirework. This time she is coming to show us how to make a baby Wading Bird out of galvanised chicken wire. In your workshop you will learn the techniques to manipulate the wire to complete a cute wading bird.

Once completed your work will last a lifetime inside or out and never rust.
All wire and tools will be provided and all you need to bring is a pair if gloves ( optional) and suggest you wear full shoes and jeans as protection against the wire.

Wire Dragonfly workshop

Carol Sterritt has been to the Blacksmith Shop Crafts previously to tutor making of wire hedgehogs, jewellery wire robins and a wading birds. Wire Dragonfly workshop is going to make us think about the forthcoming Spring and Summer.

You will have fun manipulation wire to form a lasting decoration that can either go on your fence outside, be hung from a tree or simply rest on your garden table. You could also decorate the wings with iridescent sequence or spray paint the dragonfly.
